Reborn in 2000: Taking Over Through Chat Apps

Reborn in the year 2000, he returns to his senior year of high school. In his previous life, he poured his heart and soul into creating a chat app, only to lose to the times. He burned through his savings, was buried in debt, and died at his workstation in his thirties, full of regret.

When he wakes, the internet boom of the new millennium is right before his eyes.

Dial-up internet is just becoming widespread, internet cafes are opening everywhere, domestic chat programs are riddled with flaws, and countless people have yet to recognize the immense traffic hidden in social software.

With memories of the next twenty years of the internet, Lin Zhou keeps his top spot in the mock exams and prepares for Tsinghua University, all while secretly coding his chat app, Xunfeng.

Starting with an early program copied onto floppy disks, he hits the streets to promote it at internet cafes and build a core user base, stands firm against the giants' encirclement, and fends off malicious attacks.

Group chats, virtual avatars, game lobbies, free email... Step by step, he builds his own internet ecosystem.

Investors compete to make offers, and the giants are willing to pay enormous sums to acquire him.

While everyone else is fighting over portal site traffic, he already holds the internet's most important gateway to social networking on the PC.

With his entrance exams and startup running in parallel, he stirs up the entire internet world of the new millennium in the body of a teenager!
