I, a Cunning Woman

Everyone at school says Lu Ming is a jerk. My best friend says he played her, then cries and begs me to stand up for her. Could I put up with that? No way!

I kicked open the boys' dormitory door, stole his diary, and set his desk on fire. But when I opened the diary, I was stunned. The man had written: “Women only slow down my progress,” “To hold your hand and grow old with you,” and “I'm not even good enough for myself yet, so how could I like someone else?”

Good grief, he's so pure I want to build him a memorial arch.

Oh no, turns out I'm the clown.

Then I'll just have to change tactics: make him one of us. If one of us steals another's diary, it doesn't count as stealing. If one of us burns another's desk, it doesn't count as arson. One of us scheming against another is only natural!

Be good. Don't struggle.

No prey I've set my sights on has ever gotten away. I'm Lin Wei.
