The heroine Ye Yi accidentally travels to the end of the Ming Dynasty when the building is about to collapse, and meets Xia Wanchun, a young anti-Qing general. The love between the two is that one is helpless knowing the direction of history, and the other is still desperate and righteous even after knowing his own ending.
