The thing Meng Fu regretted most in her life was stumbling into her best friend’s older brother’s room while drunk.

That night, they almost... Luckily, he stopped at the last moment.

She thought she’d never see him again.

Then, the next day,

the school invited an entrepreneur to give a lecture.

The man in the impeccable suit onstage

was the person she’d almost slept with the night before.

In the audience, Meng Fu slid right off her chair.

Afterward

under the pretext of “looking after his younger sister’s classmate,” he drew closer to her, step by step.

Meng Fu asked, “Mr. Zhou, why are you so good to me?”

Zhou Yanchuan chuckled softly, his fingers gently brushing her cheek.

“From the night you barged into my room, I never planned to let you go.”

A mature older man carefully sets his trap, drawing the little white rabbit into his territory.

Meng Fu: Help! There’s a big bad wolf next door!

Zhou Yanchuan: Too late. You can’t get away.
