In the summer of 2006, two 18-year-old gangsters picked up an abandoned baby girl in a beer box in the back alley of an Internet cafe. They named her "Xu Nian" - Nian means thinking about her and never forgetting her.
Twenty years later, Xu Nian became the youngest lawyer at a top law firm. As for the two gangsters back then - one was lame while carrying bricks at the construction site, and the other was fried in noodles at the night market until his head turned gray.
The biological parents suddenly appeared, driving a luxury car and bringing a team of lawyers to take back "their daughter."
In the court, Xu Nian projected twenty-year photos on the big screen one by one. She looked at the two old men huddled in cheap coats in the last row of the auditorium and said: "They taught me how to write the word 'parents'."
