Starting Out on the Show: I Casually Brought Yuqi Home

[One female lead, Song Yuqi, Tian Xiwei, lighthearted comedy, Back to Field, variety shows, more to come...]

Chi Yu thinks his greatest asset in life is his good looks.

As for singing, dancing, and acting?

The System's verdict is: “Best not inflict yourself on the audience.”

After binding himself to an entertainment System, Chi Yu gives up trying and uses his younger sister's connections to get onto the Back to Field production crew as a prop hand and driver.

The show is trying a full online livestream for the first time. Ten minutes before it starts, he walks into frame carrying a stool and slips straight into a woodpile

Who says entertainment has to mean singing, dancing, and acting?

As long as the audience enjoys it

Carrying stools, catching chickens, fixing tractors, working in the fields: it can all earn a flood of feedback!

Now Back to Field has a crew member whose antics are getting more and more out of place.

Viewers: “Wait, isn't he just a staff member?”

System: “Host, please take your entertainment career seriously.”

Chi Yu: “Isn't that exactly what I'm doing?”

At first, all he could do was catch chickens, fix cars, and work in the fields.

Then

Cooking, photography, hosting, playing instruments, singing, acting...

How did he end up knowing how to do so many things?

By the time everyone realized it, he was already standing where everyone could see him.

And by his side was Yuqi, acting more and more peculiar by the day.

Netizens: “Wait, when did you two get so close?”

Yuqi: “Don't make things up!”

Chi Yu: “Right, don't make things up.”

Everyone: “...Then let go of her hand first, will you?”
