Infinite: The Horror-Game Fan Favorite Is a Cannon-Fodder NPC

Lian Qing is an NPC who diligently plays the cannon fodder in horror games.

Every now and then, he makes the game a little harder to progress.

But for some reason, the players who enter the instances and the bosses inside them have all started paying attention to him.

0: The Vendor on the Snow Country Express

When a blizzard blocks the tracks and you're trapped on a train, never eat food sold by strangers.

Who would fall for such an obvious trap?

I'll have another cup of hot tea.

1: The Explorer in the Cabin in the Woods

Young people from big cities love doing reckless things that could get them killed.

They're so noisy.

That kid is the exception.

2: The Exchange Student in the University Instance

Exchange students with no foreign-language skills may sometimes look at you for help. Please do not respond.

Okay.

Is there anything I can do for you?

3: The Little Ghost in the Haunted House

Intermittent sobbing can sometimes be heard in the terrifying haunted house. If you hear it, leave as quickly as possible.

The clue's in there. I'll take a look and leave.

What if he needs my help?

4: The Vampire in the Castle on the Hill

In a castle that has seen no sunlight for years, you should always carry a candle. Once the candle goes out, do not linger.

Vampires are afraid of light. Easy to deal with.

Right, I'm allergic to light, so I threw the candle away.
