Qinghua University, Department of Metaphysics: the only institution of higher education in the country to offer a metaphysics major. On the surface, it is the "Institute of Folk Culture Studies," but in reality, it trains elite members of the Daoist sects. The campus is covered by a mountain-protecting array. The "old library" that ordinary students see is actually the Department of Metaphysics' teaching building.
Inside the Department of Metaphysics:
· Talisman class: The ceiling is covered in thunder-suppressing talismans to keep students from blowing up the building while drawing them.
· Alchemy lab: A sign reading "No explosions today" always hangs by the door.
· Divination class: Everyone gets a bronze tortoise, and the final exam is its "crawling hexagram."
· Formation class field: The trenches of varying depths across the ground are "homework relics" left by last year's upperclassmen.
The metaphysical world's "unspoken rules":
1. No divining what to eat today in the cafeteria. It can bring down a "heavenly punishment for indecision."
2. No using alchemy furnaces to cook hot pot, even though someone secretly tries it every year.
3. Sword flight must avoid civilian air routes. Violators will be punished for "disrupting air traffic."
