Serpent Lord: Enter My Mountain and Be My Slave

[Dual Perspectives] [Mad Demon Lord] [Absolute Domination] [Coercive Love] [Substitute]

Everyone thinks I kept Liu Ergou because I mistook him for my old friend A Zhao.

How laughable.

I know better than anyone.

His looks are different, his temperament is different. He's soft-hearted and timid, afraid of pain. From beginning to end, he is not my A Zhao.

But so what?

A Zhao is dead. Year after year, not even his bones remain.

The living cannot be kept, and obsession cannot be quelled. So I'll take a counterfeit and shape him with my own hands into the person I want.

I teach him to smile, teach him to endure, force him to avenge A Zhao, force him to live as the shadow of the dead.

When he's obedient, I grant him tenderness. When he dares to defy me, I remind him of his place at every turn:

He's not A Zhao. He's merely a prisoner I keep in the mountains to fill the void left by my obsession, a slave kept for me alone.
