From Lab Reject to King of Puppet Masters

When I woke up, I was lying on an operating table. A man in a white coat leaned over me and said, "Don't be afraid. It'll be over soon." Then he started the bone saw.

I thought he was just a deranged doctor. Then I saw more than thirty "failures" piled in the corner, still twitching. Then Girl No. 36 looked up at me and said something that made my scalp crawl.

But what truly made my scalp crawl was the girl covered in stitches, who died in front of me every single time.

In this life, I have only one thought:

If I don't die, neither will she.
