I'm a Wild Fox Who Collects Fallen Divine Sparks

After spending ten years as a fox, I was on the verge of starving to death when I found a stone disc.

The disc said: Forge a divine throne, and a deity in the heavens will die.

The first one was the Kitchen God. He shattered.

I gained his divine cooking flame and started selling congee at a ghost market stall.

The congee can nourish souls. A bowl costs one life.

The living came to snatch it, and so did the dead.

The spirit-medium clans set their sights on me, and heavenly soldiers blockaded the temple gate.

But the stone disc also told me a secret:

Those "memories of a past life" in my head aren't mine.

Then who am I, really?
