A Taoist Priest in Tokyo: I Slay Every Demon in Japan

After saving a child from drowning, Ye Bufan was reborn in another world as a homeless orphan adopted by the Maoshan Taoist Zhang Tianyou.

At twenty, he descended from the mountain to gain experience. Armed with a peachwood sword, he set foot in Japan and accepted a ghost-hunting bounty worth 100 million yen!

Just as exorcists from around the world were fighting tooth and nail for the job, Ye Bufan awakened the [Japanese Hundred Ghosts Compendium]!

[You have defeated the Slit-Mouthed Woman. Subdue her or kill her?]

Choose to subdue her, and the Slit-Mouthed Woman turns into a paper doll who specializes in scaring evil ghosts into tears. Choose to kill her, and you gain three years of cultivation!

[Number of recorded demons and ghosts +1] [Cultivation +3 years] [Talisman-making proficiency +100%]

Kayako, Shuten Doji, Tamamo-no-Mae, Yamata no Orochi... All the ghosts of Japan can become his fighting force!

"You exorcise ghosts with holy water, crosses, and shikigami?" Ye Bufan raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, I just bring a bunch of ghosts to fight other ghosts!"

And so everyone watched as a Chinese Taoist led a horde of Japanese ghosts against another horde of Japanese ghosts.

"Wait, how does he cut through ghosts like they're nothing?! And why does he have so many helpers?!" The exorcists collectively lost it.
