On the first day Shen Ping'an came back to take over the guesthouse, his parents packed their suitcases and fled in the middle of the night. They left a note on the front desk saying they were going to see the aurora.
That evening, he looked through the notebook his grandfather had left behind. It had a dark blue cover, its corners worn pale, and its pages had yellowed.
Shen Ping'an hadn't wanted to read it, since it might contain his grandfather's diary. But a line of strange words was written inside the cover:
"Leaves fall, people come."
Shen Ping'an didn't understand what it meant and assumed his grandfather was just being poetic.
Nothing happened over the next few days. Then, in the early hours of that morning, Shen Ping'an woke up freezing. He went to close the window, but as soon as he pulled back the curtains and looked outside, he froze in place.
The Riddler, all kinds of confusing settings!
Ill. Can a five-year-old overthrow the rebellion during Emperor Wu's time? It's better to let him bring some current things to show his value. With Emperor Wu's character, he wouldn't kill her mother.

I was confused after reading a few chapters.
