A factory worker from 2018 wakes up to find himself transmigrated into He Yuzhu, a resident of a courtyard compound!
By chance, he binds to a sandbox farming space called One Mu of Grain. It has everything: land to reclaim and plant, grain to stockpile, vegetables to preserve, and even a medicinal cuisine workshop.
Yi Zhonghai makes empty promises? Jia Zhangshi throws a tantrum? Yan Bugui is always trying to take advantage?
While the courtyard's troublemakers scheme against one another and turn the place into a battlefield, He Yuzhu shuts his door and tends to his vast fields, living with plenty of food and warm clothes.
He looks after his younger sister, He Yushui, earns an honest wage, and builds a nest egg of his own.
While everyone else fights over scraps, I'll enjoy the shade beneath my own harvest!
