The three of them are killing time in their dorm room: playing Minecraft, watching videos, while the others in the dorm smoke and play CSGO. Then the world suddenly falls apart. They wake beneath a gray sky that never changes, and the school has become a ruin. A System informs them that this is a temporary world that will be destroyed in a year. They must kill 10 monsters to awaken an ability, and 100 to leave.
While everyone else panics, the three quickly gather supplies. They discover that the world has grown larger. The System's inventory can hold only one item at a time. They are crossing the gray wasteland toward the subway station, using it as a landmark on their way to the police station to get weapons.
