Everyone online knows that top-tier star Chi Huan is Huo Yao's kept woman, propped up with 1.5 billion yuan.
Everyone thinks the powerful man is head over heels for her, and they're all waiting for the couple to announce their happy news.
That is, until Huo Yao's first love, Lin Yao, returns to the country. Huo Yao asks Chi Huan to break up late one night, and the internet erupts, shocked to learn that the top-tier star was only a stand-in.

Chi Huan plays the part of a lover in front of Huo Yao. She pretends to be devoted and acts like she's in love, all so she can cling to him and climb higher.
Once her "part" with Huo Yao is over, she swiftly walks away and joins a variety show, becoming a sensation online.

Later, Huo Yao watches her shed her docile image and shine brilliantly. His eyes redden as he obsessively begs her, "Didn't you say you loved me?"
Chi Huan smiles distantly. "It was just an act, Mr. Huo. Why did you take it seriously?"
