I Use My Divine Eye to Lead the Whole Village to Prosperity

Intern doctor Lin Qiu is "optimized out" by the hospital and slinks back to his impoverished mountain village. After sleeping in his grandpa's old house, he unexpectedly awakens the "Divine Eye." Within a hundred meters, nothing underground can escape his sight: which patch of soil hides a century-old lingzhi mushroom, which plot conceals a nest of venomous snakes, even ancient tombs, mineral veins, and soul-sealing platforms buried deep underground.

His treasure-hunting livestream goes viral overnight. He exposes the village chief's shady dealings with his ancestral grave, sending the man off to work a sewing machine in prison. Then he leads the whole village in developing "visualized agriculture," with orders piling up from the provincial capital to overseas.

But a flash flood in the back hills washes out a strange flight of stone steps. Deep beneath them lie underground ruins that do not belong to humanity. The fate of the whole village rests on his eyes.

"You want to lay a hand on my village? Ask my eyes if they'll let you."
