Fox Spirit Matchmaker: No Dusk on the Yuan River

A Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Wumu Arc fanfiction

The original female lead is Cui Yuqingyuan, a water leech spirit. The male lead is Wangquan Wumu.

A bond spanning three lifetimes, an enduring love in one.

This time, Wangquan Wumu will not die by Wangquan Jingxing’s sword.

--

Old souls on the Three-Life Stone, two lifetimes apart, meeting in the third.

Snow before Situ’s tomb, wind along the Wangquan Sword.

Clear water for bones, love for a blade; amid pink mist, I recognize you without knowing why.

Four hundred years pass, yet neither has changed. Beneath the Bitter Tree, they meet once more.

--

Spirit of clear water, soul of a love trial.

Meeting in three lifetimes, missing each other in two.

Heir to the Situ line, scar of the Wangquan bloodline.

Yellow robes stained with snow, pink mist without a root.

The sword may break, but there is no regret. Even at death’s door, warmth remains.

The Bitter Tree is our witness, the red thread our token.

I will not fail you in this life; in the next, I will still seek you out.
