I Joined a Dating Show, but the System Wants Me to Be a Player

[Dating Show + System + Comedy + Love Rivalry + Sweet Romance, One-on-One]

Bai Youyou is dying. The doctor says she has six months at most.

Then a "Love Assistant System No. 250" drops from the sky. On the day it binds to her, it cuts her remaining six months down to three days. The System says matter-of-factly, "Activation requires energy. The energy comes from the Host."

Bai Youyou: "Are you here to extend my life or end it?"

System: "Extend it! Complete your tasks and your life points will increase immediately. This System has already secured you a spot on the popular dating show Heart Signal. Filming starts tomorrow at eight in the morning."

Bai Youyou doesn't want to go. But she only has three days left. If she doesn't go, she'll die sooner. If she does, she'll embarrass herself in front of everyone. She chooses public humiliation. At least it'll be a lively way to go.

So she's forced to complete tasks on the dating show to extend her life. The System is a rookie, full of instructions but utterly useless in practice. Every day, it gives her ridiculous tasks, like sneaking out to eat cake at midnight, adding chili oil to someone's bowl, or smiling at a male contestant for three seconds. Bai Youyou completes each task and humiliates herself every time, but somehow, all the male contestants fall for her.

The noodle shop owner saves the most tender meat for her. The photographer keeps her photos. The architect says, "From now on, you're the only one allowed to touch my things." As for the elementary school teacher who plays guitar, he always watches her from outside the crowd. He doesn't speak or approach her, but whenever she makes a fool of herself, he gives her a way to save face.

Bai Youyou: "I'm here to extend my life, not fall in love."

System: "But they all think you like them."

Bai Youyou: "They're crazy."

System: "Are you still going to do the tasks?"

Bai Youyou: "Yes. My life matters more than my dignity."
