Pure Altar Envoy? More Like the Celestial Realms' Disciplinary Inspector

After the journey west ended, he received only the title of Altar-Cleansing Envoy. Everyone laughed at him for being a glutton and a good-for-nothing.

Only he knew that he had stepped into Spirit Mountain's greatest abyss.

The Mysterious Case of the Altar-Cleansing Treasury

Clue 1: A young Buddhist clerk hanging dead from a beam, with a plate of buns at his feet.

Clue 2: The Flaming Mountain has been out for nine years. Why are disaster relief subsidies still being paid?

Clue 3: Where has the miscarriage-inducing spring water shipped from the Dragon Palace of the Western Sea ended up?

On the surface, he goes wherever the wind blows and eats at every banquet. In secret, he records the name of everyone who handles each transaction.

Facing the danger, the Little White Dragon pleads with him: "Wujing, the waters of the Western Sea run too deep. You can't investigate this any further."

Tang Sanzang sighs: "Wujing, hand over the ledger. I will keep you safe for the rest of your life."

Even the hot-tempered Brother Monkey blocks his way at the Disciplinary Court: "You fool, stop investigating, or you'll die!"

But he simply puts away his flippant smile, wipes the blood from his face, and takes out the old military-accounting ruler.

"Brother Monkey, you're good at fighting monsters. But rooting out traitors is Tianpeng's specialty."

When the old accounts of the Celestial River from thirty thousand years ago are unearthed, and the shocking secret of the Sin-Cleansing Lotus is exposed,

only then do all the gods and Buddhas remember that he was once Marshal Tianpeng, who commanded eighty thousand naval troops and acted with swift decisiveness!
