The two most difficult people in the Southern Archives have always been inseparable.
Zhang Hailou was responsible for making things worse, and Zhang Haixia was responsible for dragging him back before things completely got out of control.
During a mission to track down ancient ruins, the two of them were simultaneously involved in a strange tide of time and space. When they opened their eyes again, they were already in an unrecorded ancient tomb in Changsha during the Republic of China. Outside the coffin was the newly emerging Lao Jiumen, and inside the coffin were two more Zhang family members of unknown origin.
Spreading black scales appeared on Zhang Haixia's arms, but their names had already been engraved on the mural in the tomb.
What's even weirder is that someone in Changsha City is using old tunes from the Southern Archives to deliver messages, and the ancient artifacts in the hands of each family in the nine gates are also being exchanged one by one.
In order to suppress Zhang Hailou's temper of flipping the table whenever something happened, and to find a way to lift the curse, the two had to temporarily form an alliance with Zhang Qishan, Er Erhong, Qi Tiezui and others.
Ancient tombs, ghost ships, insect valleys, and bronze gates, temptations and rebellions among the nine gates followed one after another. Zhang Hailou was tough-talking and protected Zhang Haixia all the way out of the siege; Zhang Haixia seemed calm, but in fact he had already discovered that this time-travel was not an accident, but an invitation planted by someone a hundred years ago.
When the black lines covered his arms, the resurgence mirror closed again, and everyone thought that one person must be left to suppress the rift in time and space, Zhang Hailou stood in front of the door holding two swords.
"If you want to stay, stay together. Don't even think about leaving me alone."
