Dream of the Red Chamber: After Seeing the On-Screen Comments, Daiyu Slaps Baoyu

[Dream of the Red Chamber + danmu comments + face-slapping + everyone gets their comeuppance + awakening and comeback]

After Jia Min’s death in Yangzhou, Lin Daiyu boarded a pleasure boat heading south. Suddenly, countless lines of text appeared before her eyes:

[Run! This family will devour you without even spitting out the bones. They’ll seize your entire estate and force you to die in tears and misery!]

[After you enter the Jia household, Lin Ruhai will be poisoned to death by Jia Yucun and the capital’s secret agents working together!]

[Your vast fortune will be turned into every flower and blade of grass in the Grand View Garden, and in the end, you won’t even have money to buy ginseng and tonic pills!]

[Jia Baoyu will call you Sister Lin while taking Xi Ren and Qing Wen for himself, then cheerfully marry Xue Baochai!]

Daiyu clenched her teeth and immediately ordered the boat to turn around, heading back to the Salt Commissioner’s residence.

“Father, have Jia Yucun thrown in prison first. If the Jia family comes asking for money, don’t give them a single coin!”

After saving her father and gaining control of a million in salt-tax revenue and military power, Daiyu returned to the capital as the renowned Princess of Yangzhou.

Jia Baoyu tried his old trick of smashing his jade pendant to win sympathy. Daiyu raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face.

“Wasting a gift from Heaven like that? You’re a disloyal, unfilial wastrel. How dare you play the lunatic in front of me?”

Lady Wang trembled with rage and tried to use filial piety to put Daiyu in her place. Suddenly, a sinister, dark-armored figure spattered with blood stepped out behind her: “Who dares lay a hand on my betrothed?”

The danmu comments went wild with support: [So satisfying! If Sister Lin isn’t going to be a resentful woman locked away in the inner chambers, who wants to watch that miserable tragedy of a Dream of the Red Chamber?]
