(Pokemon Champion-level Poke Balls. I've never played the games, so this is all made up as I go along. Because of my personal preferences, most Pokemon will be from later generations, and I probably won't catch any legendary Pokemon.)
Li Yangdou transmigrates to a world where Pokemon exist.
A world that's almost a utopia.
There's only one thing that can be called cruel: battles with the Pokemon here are just like sporting events.
Higher, faster, stronger. Competition and elimination.
Everyone can pursue their dreams. Your ending isn't predetermined by whether you're the protagonist or a supporting character.
No matter who you are, if you can't keep up with everyone else, you'll be forced to retire, carrying the lifelong pain of never being able to defeat your rival.
Will you back down? Will fear of failure tie your hands?
That's loser thinking!
