Leo: Summoning the Dragon God from the Start

[Dragon God Gaiking] [Mashin Hero Wataru] [Mecha] [Ultraman] [Super Mashin Legend]

[Reader Advisory] The story takes a turn after Chapter 50. Volume One is a slow-burn growth story set in the world of Ultraman Leo, with a mecha-like feel that preserves the original's high-pressure, hard-fought tone. The protagonist starts as an ordinary person, with no overpowered start and no steamrolling his way through everything. The early chapters involve plenty of training, injuries, limitations, and setbacks, and the overall tone is rather oppressive. Readers looking only for light, feel-good wish fulfillment should take note. Volume Two is written as a continuation under a new book, so each book is not very long. The story uses one book per volume.

As a tsunami bears down, Lin Che is swept into the world of Ultraman Leo by a mysterious magatama.

There is no overpowered start, no instant rise to greatness. Under the watch of MAC, all he can do is survive. Through one rescue, training session, and battle after another, he gradually learns the power of Dragon God Gaiking, and slowly goes from an ordinary person who can only run for his life to someone truly able to step onto the battlefield.

Only when Leo's light of the lion falls upon Dragon God Gaiking does a path never seen before truly open up.

This is a story about starting out as an ordinary person, growing stronger through one hard-fought battle after another, and finally gaining the power to change the things he regrets.
