I Got Flamed for Scamming Money on Livestream, Then the Whole County Hailed Me as a God

Zhou Wang is fed up with the rat race in the big city, so he quits his job and returns to his impoverished home county. To his surprise, he awakens the [Tycoon Infrastructure System].

As long as he gets viewers in his livestream to send him tips, the System will grant him [County Development Funds] at a rate of 1 to 10,000!

Determined to build up his godforsaken hometown, Zhou Wang lets loose and becomes the shamelessest “cash-grabbing scoundrel” on the internet.

“Don’t go, number one supporter! No one will help me reach for the clouds, so I’ll climb to the mountaintop through the snow myself! Send me a rocket, and I’ll show you a bungee jump from way up high!”

“Boss, just tell us what to do! As long as the money’s right, I’ll break bricks with one hand!”

The whole internet condemns Zhou Wang for having no bottom line. They cyberbully him relentlessly and even petition to have him banned.

Then one day, a reporter from the national media visits the impoverished county undercover to investigate its poverty alleviation efforts.

On camera, a stunning county packed with high-tech factories and futuristic cyberpunk architecture, where everyone lives in spacious apartments, shocks the world!

And the county’s biggest entrepreneur, the “god” in the hearts of its people, turns out to be none other than Zhou Wang, the guy who begs his livestream viewers for ten yuan!

The whole internet breaks down in tears: “We thought he was just cash-grabbing. Turns out he was doing charity?”

“God Zhou, please keep cash-grabbing! Just don’t work yourself to death!”
