Before chaos, there was no time, and near and far had no meaning.
Xuan Xu awoke among countless "possible selves" and became a Chaos Demon God who wielded time and space.
He could see the traces left by the past and glimpse the countless paths branching out into the future, yet he could not find a perfect ending without a price.
To save a glimmer of light about to be assimilated by chaos, he crossed a boundary that should never have been crossed for the first time. For it, he took on a debt to the Ruins of Time that could neither be transferred nor erased.
Later, he met Pangu, who was sharpening his axe.
Pangu would swing the first axe that split open the heavens and earth alone. Xuan Xu could only stand beyond its light and save the sparks that should never have been remembered.
He witnessed the creation of the heavens and earth, the birth of the primordial world, the rampage of the ferocious beasts, the struggles of the dragons, phoenixes, and qilin, and the many paths vying for supremacy. He also witnessed every powerful figure pay the price for their choices.
Time and space are not omnipotent.
Seeing the future does not mean you can change it; preserving possibilities does not mean every possibility should become reality.
When the One True Order descends, Xuan Xu must answer one question:
If saving everyone would destroy true history, should he still reach out?
What the hell plot?
