Every night at midnight, accident-recording restoration specialist Zhou Yu receives a distress recording from seventy-two hours in the future. The sooner he saves people, the more the list of the dead in the recording changes. He must work with a group of accident investigators who don't entirely trust one another to uncover the true turning point behind the disaster, without deciding on anyone's behalf who should be sacrificed.
