A Luo is the most good-for-nothing junior sister in the Beast Taming Sect, able to contract with only one chubby orange cat. When the demonic sect ambushes their sect, the cat suddenly awakens its ancient divine beast bloodline and smashes the Demon Lord’s clone with one paw. A Luo becomes famous, and every sect scrambles to recruit her. She and the cat explore secret realms, seize opportunities, and rapidly grow in strength. She discovers that the cat is the transformed form of her Dao companion from a past life, who sealed its memories to protect her. In the end, she helps the cat regain its memories, and together they wipe out the demonic sect. But the rules of the Heavenly Dao strip them both of their cultivation, turning them back into an ordinary human and an orange cat, and they spend their lives together.
