After her cousin passes away, picture-book editor Xu Zhihe unexpectedly becomes the temporary guardian of four-and-a-half-year-old Lili. She juggles work while clumsily learning how to care for a child, only to discover that behind Lili's maturity lies a secret: she is afraid of being abandoned.
