When she was twelve, her aunt and father died. When she was seventeen, her mother died too.
All four deaths led back to money paid by the same businessman.
She survived, got into the police academy, and pretended she knew nothing.
Five years later, she became a criminal investigator and secretly reopened the case.
Touch an object connected to a crime, and she could see what happened at the scene. Three times a day, no more.
From lab reports to a sunken ship, from pyramid schemes to shady employment agencies, she pieced the truth together bit by bit.
This is a story about a daughter, a police officer, and a truth that took ten years to uncover.
This is my first time writing a book on Tomato, and my hands are shaking a little.
This story follows a girl who spends ten years uncovering the truth behind her family’s deaths. She’s a criminal investigator with a special ability: she can touch an object and see what happened at a crime scene. Three times a day, no more. Her ability is limited, so she still has to rely on her wits, the evidence, and other people to solve cases.
A series of standalone cases with an overarching cold-case storyline, and a restrained romance. I’ll write it carefully and won’t leave the story unfinished.
