Fighting the Eagles: I Build a Heavy Combined-Arms Brigade from the Start

“You’re back. What local specialties did you bring the country?”

“Reporting, sir. I brought back a ground-force system that’ll make the Star-Spangled Nation’s military tremble: the heavy combined-arms brigade.”

…

Li Ming transmigrated as an international student, only to be detained by the Star-Spangled Nation on charges of “stealing secrets.” His manuscripts were burned, his family letters torn up, and he set off home empty-handed. But in his mind was a military-industrial empire he could recall with perfect clarity: 107 mm rocket launchers taken apart and carried up mountains, dry-cell batteries used to set off fireworks across the hills; a 5.8 mm assault rifle concept that outclassed the Garand; and a heavy combined-arms brigade structure fifty years ahead of its time, with five hundred soldiers commanding over a hundred tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, calling in artillery fire that would rain down on the enemy in three minutes!

From the humble 107 mm rocket launcher to the steel torrent of the heavy combined-arms brigade, Li Ming rolled up his sleeves. “Let’s see what we can do.”
