Genshin Impact: A Promise Beyond the Sea of Stars

He once said that the sky was impossible to hold on to.

Yet he still reached out, trying to catch the star that had fallen into Teyvat.

The Traveler, Lumine, met the young man Xiao at Wangshu Inn in Liyue.

Cold and taciturn, like a spear drawn from its sheath and never put away.

A bowl of almond tofu, a battle fought side by side, and a wordless moment together on a rooftop.

With the warmth of another world, Lumine slowly melted the heart the millennia-old Yaksha had frozen in ice.

They made Xiao Lanterns together, shared their first kiss beneath the fireworks, and promised to travel across all seven nations and see every sea.

But the shadow of the Abyss was never far away

Xiao's karmic debt began to spiral out of control, his memories gradually faded, and the secret of Lumine's origins hung above them like a blade, slowly descending.

It turned out that all their sweetness was merely the prelude fate had carefully arranged.

Deep within Irminsul lay the truth of seven cycles of reincarnation. Above the Heavenly Principles, the Sustainer watched over this destined-to-part ways encounter.

When the seal descends, when memories are erased, when the one who learned to smile for him becomes a weapon of slaughter once more

How can he find her again?

And how can she remember him, even as she forgets?

"If we began again, I would still meet you on the rooftop of Wangshu Inn."

"No matter how many times, I would fall in love with you."

Warning: Sweet at first, then angsty, with a major heartbreak in the middle, but a warm ending. Please bring tissues.
