An accident at a construction site leaves 35-year-old electrician Ke Yu electrocuted, and his consciousness separates from his body. When he opens his eyes again, he has crossed 1,400 light-years and awakened on Kepler-452b.
Once the homeworld of the Milky Way's most dazzling Type II civilization, the planet was overrun a century ago after an unknown interstellar civilization released a biological consciousness-infecting fungus. Its once-bustling interstellar cities are now ruins covered in fungal mats. All life has mutated, and monsters roam everywhere. The land is a death trap, while the deep sea is an even more deadly, unexplored forbidden zone.
Fortunately, Ke Yu has been registered as a flawless experimental subject resistant to the fungus. With blue spiral horns and a long, pitch-black tail, he is the only living person on this doomed, fungus-ravaged planet whose mind cannot be corrupted.
Using a high-dimensional mental force field device, Ke Yu unlocks an incredible ability: summoning players from another dimension, from Earth.
