Shen Lang transmigrates to another world as the only son of the Duke of Zhenguo and the sworn brother of the emperor.
All he wants is to lie flat.
Drink tea, play cards, soak in hot springs, and spend his days with four stunning beauties.
But...
His sworn elder brother, the emperor, keeps trying to hand him the affairs of state. His sworn second brother on the northern frontier asks him to help build repeating crossbows. A princess of Chu asks to borrow sweet potato seeds, and the chief of the Embroidered Uniform Guard turns up at his estate every day for a free meal.
The more he lies flat, the more trouble finds him.
"I just want to be a carefree wastrel in peace. Can't you all stop bothering me?"
Only later does he realize...
Some things can't be avoided by lying flat.
What, a brothel girl, a common wife, couldn't figure out what the main plot was after watching it for a long time.
