Legend has it that during the Western Zhou Dynasty, there was a group of mysterious alchemists known as the Pure Land Sect (not related to the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism). They mastered a sorcery that transformed living people into "immortal and non-living" things, which they called "the art of rebirth." They believe that through the combination of specific geographical Feng Shui layout, the resonance frequency of bronzes and special medicines, a "bliss space" between yin and yang can be created - in which people will not really die, but they will not really live, and will live forever as "Pure Land citizens".
