Showbiz: Bringing Real-Life Shock to the AI Age

The music scene in this world is under AI's control.

Mainstream music is all churned out on algorithmic production lines, released and discarded in batches. Audiences are long since sick of it. Real people singing and writing songs have become a rarity.

Yang Xu, transmigrated into the body of a down-and-out young man, has an entire world of classic melodies in his head. He can borrow whichever songs he wants.

He meets Shen Qingxian, a talent-show champion who has been shelved by her company and has nothing but a guitar left. She needs a song to save her career; he needs money to pay off his debts.

So he writes, and she sings.

One song warms the whole crowd and takes the internet by storm. The entire city is asking: who is that mysterious songwriter?

He has only one thing to say: songs are meant to be sung by people.

Not written for machines.

Songs written by people are the ones with heart.
