After transmigrating as Hozuki Suigetsu, a minor character in Naruto, he was rescued from a water prison by Sasuke from the start. Since he'd already arrived, he decided to make the best of it. He knew what would happen in the future: the Fourth Shinobi World War and the Eye of the Moon Plan. He decided to stick with Sasuke, figuring things couldn't get much worse. Saving the world was best left to the protagonist. But then he discovered that the plot of this world had gone completely off the rails, and that he wasn't the only transmigrator. Hozuki Suigetsu decided to go all in and tell Sasuke Uchiha the entire plot, steering the future toward an outcome that favored him.
