Oh No! My Brother's Friend Caught Me Disguised as a Man

Senior-year intensive training + funny, sweet college life | Disguised as a boy | Mutual firsts | A touch of ensemble cast | Three-year age gap | Antagonistic at first

A quirky, hilarious girl with an air gun × a scheming, flamboyant older academic who guides her toward pure love

To secure a recommendation letter for the provincial team, Shu Qiang disguises herself as a boy and enters an all-male training camp run by her older brother’s best friend. Little does she know that Jiang Yihuai spots her disguise soon after she arrives.

Jiang Yihuai deliberately tells her to take off her shirt and crawl forward. Shu Qiang says, “I don’t have abs, so I’d rather not embarrass myself by showing you.”

When she faces the prospect of going to the bathroom with Jiang Yihuai, Shu Qiang refuses: “Mine is ## too small. I’m self-conscious about it.”

Whenever he tests her, she plays dumb. That continues until he holds up the final signature on her recommendation letter. With playing dumb no longer an option, she offers him her older brother Shu Yu’s labor for the rest of his life in exchange.

Jiang Yihuai sets his terms: “Add me on WeChat and promise not to block me, and I’ll sign.”

She agrees, gets the recommendation letter, and immediately deletes him. She thinks she can finally get away from him, but then he shows up at her home to stay over the Spring Festival.

Jiang Yihuai: My future wife thinks she can run away? No chance!

Busy as ever, Shu Yu specifically asks Jiang Yihuai to help Shu Qiang with her homework. He is glad to save on tutoring fees, never realizing that his own sister is being whisked away right under his nose.

When Peking University starts its new term, a post on campus breaks the news that Jiang Yihuai is dating someone. Before anyone can finish wishing them a happy hundred years together, they see who the heroine is and cry out in anguish: “Where’s my knife? Get it for me!”

Bonus Scene

“Relax, baby. I’ll teach you.”

Shu Qiang pins him against the wall with a confident grin, teasing him as her lips brush his cheek. “You’re the one who needs to relax.”
