Ye Feng was "conscripted" into Warhammer 40K for being "insufficiently loyal," and assigned a penance mission.
A giant golden skull circles overhead, firing into the crowd every so often. Each shot leaves someone dead.
"God-Emperor! I really am loyal to you. I just lost my head for a moment!" Ye Feng repented inwardly.
He never expected the God-Emperor to take him seriously.
Ye Feng was granted an audience with the old man himself.
On Holy Terra, kneeling at the feet of the Master of Mankind, Ye Feng made a request that shocked the entire Imperium:
"God-Emperor, I request permission to become a heretic and use my status as a heretic to win over the xenos."
"Then I'll use the spear of the xenos to strike against the shield of Chaos and make humanity great again."
The God-Emperor fell silent for three seconds, then looked at Guilliman beside him.
Guilliman said, "Father, this may violate two million Imperial laws, but compared with the Ecclesiarchy's proposal from yesterday, to 'convert the Tyranids with sacred hymns,' this plan is clearly more feasible."
The God-Emperor glanced at the two of them, seemingly without a care. "Do as you please. But this violates Imperial law, so I can't appoint you. You'll have to sort out all the details yourselves."
Ye Feng said, "Got it. You'll pretend you know nothing, right?"
The God-Emperor said, "Get lost."
And so, following Horus, the galaxy that had lain quiet for ten thousand years boiled once more. The four landlords in the Warp, who never clocked out, had a new tenant who would give them more headaches than anyone.
The Orks, Tyranids, Aeldari, Necrons, and T'au also received the Imperium's final mercy...
