## Synopsis
Shen Manning was an ordinary office worker in a Hong Kong office tower in 2022, working overtime late into the night when a falling object struck her. When she opened her eyes again, she had somehow transmigrated into the Hong Kong gangster underworld of the 1990s, inhabiting the body of a woman with the same name who had been heartbroken by the scumbag Lei Yaoyang and taken her own life with an overdose.
In her previous life, she was just an ordinary person who loved watching movies and knew the ins and outs of the gangster world from the films. But when the movies became reality and blades flashed right before her eyes, all she wanted was to run. The original owner had left behind two final wishes, though: return to the mainland to pay respects to her father, and collect Lei Yaoyang's body.
The System offered her two rewards: a run-down shop with overdue rent, and a plagiarism System. She chose the latter. But fate had other plans: Lei Yaoyang hadn't died after all. With the second wish no longer relevant, the plagiarism System disappeared too. She had no choice but to return to her hometown in Zhejiang and start out collecting scrap.
With sheer determination, she began by gathering wastepaper on a three-wheeled cart and met a woman named Xu Banxia. Neither woman was willing to accept her lot in life. One collected scrap steel, the other traded across borders. From the docks to Russia, from steel to real estate, they carved out their own business empires amid the opportunities of reform and opening up.
Meanwhile, back in Hong Kong, Lei Yaoyang was reborn.
He remembered the songs she had written, the piano she had played, and how she had waited outside the Hong Kong Coliseum for Leslie Cheung. In this life, he didn't want to join the underworld again or get struck by lightning and die. He wanted to go straight, turn his life around, and bring this woman back to his side while there was still time.

Isn't the timeline written too jumpy? . . Lei Yaoyang died → the original owner collected his body and then committed suicide → the original owner died and the female protagonist came over → Lei Yaoyang turned into a ghost and followed the female protagonist, the female protagonist had her own career and agreed to Leslie Cheung's proposal → Lei Yaoyang was reborn~ So after Lei Yaoyang is reborn, will he have entanglements with the original protagonist or the female protagonist?
The combination of Xu Banxia and Crow is wonderful. I have never imagined such a delicious collaboration.
