Heaven and earth are a banquet that never ends.
Accompanying the gift creates affection, but those who owe the gift will be left with an account; receiving a gift in vain will result in a loss of three points of blessing.
The little monk received a card from his mouth. There were eight seats in Cambodia, but the host's seat was empty - no one knew who was hosting the banquet.
He carried a load into the guest pavilion, and from then on he sat at the Eight Immortals table with seven "weirdos": the swordsman in red who kept his sword in the account to make a living; the "ruler" who didn't want to make false accounts and changed them as soon as he picked up his pen; and the one who knew when it rained. The girl under the umbrella who does everything in a city; the veteran Xuanjia who can win the hearts of a city by carrying his words; the teacher who uses a ruler to write questions about heaven and earth; the shadow official who lives by prepaying conclusions;
Their work is to walk into unfinished dreams: a happy event where the bride has never arrived after seven rounds of worship; an isolated city where the reinforcements have been waiting for thirty days and an invincible army outside;
Whatever the dream lacks, the rules are what it is. Only by completing the ending can one dish be added to the banquet; by collecting eight bowls, eight dishes and sixteen dishes, the banquet can be opened and people can leave.
But the further back you go, the more strange it becomes: the handwriting on the card and the phrase "Don't lose it" in the dream were written by the same hand.
