Pokemon + bonds + battles + slow pace + Gyarados from the start
Xia Shu woke up one day and unexpectedly transmigrated to Petalburg Woods in the Hoenn Region, where he became a baby.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted couple adopted him. Even more surprisingly, he awakened his very own Petalburg Power:
Every Pokemon partner by his side could master multiple Abilities, and each had a burning heart of a king beating in its chest.
With the dream of becoming the world's number one, Xia Shu and his partners fought their way through every obstacle, from Gym battles to the League tournament, until he finally stood on the highest stage of the Masters Eight.
Now, please welcome the Hoenn League's new Champion, the utterly perfect man... Xia Shu!!
Pokemon team:
The Gyarados that leaped the Dragon Gate: a true dragon
The Swellow that returned from hell: an unruly king
The ugly duckling turned swan: a crystal Milotic
The bloody meat grinder: a proud Salamence
The Breloom that holds back ten thousand foes: a mighty general
(1. The protagonist has Petalburg Power, which lets Pokemon awaken multiple Abilities. He doesn't know about it at first, and fully awakens it during the Petalburg Woods arc.
2. There will be some special Pokemon in this book, with unusual moves and forms.)
The plot is good, each character has a distinct personality, there is no system, and there is no theory of qualifications. I personally can accept the golden finger. Overall, it is pretty good. What I personally think is a bad point is that there are original characters, but they are OOC, and the related plot of Xiaoyao made me really uncomfortable watching it. The flaws cannot be concealed, so give the new book a little boost.
I've read Chapter 6, it's great, I'm too lazy to comment.
