Hu Yixiao has never been good at anything, but he's always been number one at having bad luck. After dying, he falls into the bizarre Otherworldly Misfortune Sect.
Here, Kong Qiu is a waiter, Du Fu buys groceries, and Su Shi is a chef. The more unlucky they were in life, the more prestigious their status becomes after death.
Now a divine decree from the Heavenly Book of the God Realm bears down on them, threatening to destroy the place in seven days.
Bearing a cyan level-five jade token and harboring a powerful figure within him, Hu Yixiao joins a group of historical spirits as they travel through dungeons from past and present.
At first, all he wanted was to run away and escape. Now he has no choice but to stake everything to save the entire Misfortune Sect.
