Detective Zhou Ye investigates the case of a bizarre fall from a building and discovers that the deceased secretly filmed him for three years. What's even more frightening is that the deceased's mobile phone is full of photos of him and his "daughter" - but there is no such child in his household registration book. When he followed the clues to find out the truth about the virtual world, he discovered that he was a "Type II Observer" whose memory had been erased, and the only way to retrieve his daughter was to overturn the rules of the entire system.
