In the northern countryside of the 1980s, Xu Nan married Wang Jianguo at the age of eighteen. Wang Jianguo went south to pursue his career within two days of their marriage, and there was no news for ten years. For ten years, she worked hard in the Wang family without complaint, endured the harsh treatment of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Liu, and suffered all kinds of hardships.
