Fu Yuan is a zombie who has lived for over a thousand years. Suddenly, in a daze, she is summoned to the modern world to repay a debt from her past life.
In a bare-bones rented apartment, Jiang Yanshu, the future big villain, kneels before her and begs her to be rich and generous, and to save his younger sister's life.
Unfortunately, aside from her stunning beauty, Fu Yuan can't do a thing. She expects to be fed and dressed, making an already struggling household even worse off.
It's easy to summon a deity, but hard to send one away. Jiang Yanshu has no choice but to be her devoted male nanny. He works three jobs a day, then comes home to comb her hair, put on her shoes, and coldly wash her pants.
Fu Yuan is busy, too, doing everything she can to help him earn money, then promptly getting him fired from his regular job.
Gritting his teeth, Jiang Yanshu even takes on life-or-death matches to support her. Fu Yuan is so moved that she showers him with kisses and hugs.
Then she realizes that an eighteen-year-old man is still far too full of youthful vigor...
So she sells him for a million.
Then Fu Yuan runs away.
Jiang Yanshu goes mad.
Ten years later, half the capital belongs to the Jiang family.
And Jiang Yanshu's whole world is Fu Yuan.
He searches the entire capital, then activates the secret spell once more. At last, the dazed zombie returns.
“Why am I here? Do you... owe me something?”
Jiang Yanshu swallows all the tears of the past ten years and smiles, his voice hoarse.
“Mm. I owe you my whole life.”
