Lu Xuan, a menial disciple of a sect, was beaten to death by an elder for secretly learning cultivation techniques. By chance, he transmigrated to a high-martial world with an ancient setting.
While badly injured by the roadside, Lu Xuan happened to be rescued by Su Qingyue, an illegitimate daughter of the Su family. To repay her kindness and find a place to stay, Lu Xuan chose to serve as her bodyguard. That choice marked the beginning of both trouble and opportunity.
However, Lu Xuan had successfully brought with him from the cultivation world the forbidden technique, the Heaven-Devouring Art.
It's said that at its final stage, it can devour everything in the world. The cultivation techniques from that world are his greatest advantage.
Of course, trouble is unavoidable.
While protecting Su Qingyue, Lu Xuan stirred up plenty of trouble. First, he offended Sikong Xuan, the third prince of the Great Yan Dynasty. Then the Su Qinghan faction of the Su family secretly set traps for him and targeted him, along with a whole host of other obstacles.
But Lu Xuan clearly isn't someone these troubles can defeat.
Relying on three secret manuals from the cultivation world, he fought his way through every challenge, cutting down everyone who stood against him.
To Lu Xuan, even the pinnacle of martial arts is nothing but an ant beneath his cultivation system. He will show the martial world what it means to crush your opponent with a higher-dimensional advantage.
Next, Lu Xuan will show everyone what happens when a cultivation system clashes with a high-martial world.
High-martial system: Body Tempering, True Martial, Profound Mastery, Grandmaster, Martial King, Martial Saint... (early, middle, and late stages).
Cultivation system: Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core... (stages one through nine).
