Sometimes, a person travels a very long way in life.
So far that they pass through many cities they've never seen, meet many people they've never known, and hear strange stories. Then, on some ordinary evening, they suddenly realize they've arrived somewhere they never imagined they would reach.
Some hurry on their way; others stay behind.
Some struggle to make ends meet, while others cross mountains and rivers for the sake of a single idea.
Streetlamps shine all night. Sometimes, mountain winds sweep over wild grass, and teahouses tell tales of the past. But more often, there are temples without monks, where the wind sweeps the floors, and incense without fire, where the moon lights the lamps.
There are too many things in this world that no one knows about.
And the story begins when a young man leaves the mountains.
