Refusing Pan Jinlian from the Start? Bound to a Saintess as Her Bodyguard

I’m a life-sentenced criminal from the Earth Federation.

I volunteered to become one of the seeds in the Federation’s “Ascension Project.”

On my thirtieth day after transmigrating, the widow Pan Jinlian showed up at my door!

Of course I turned her down. I couldn’t get involved with her!

Then I came across a stunning saintess, gravely injured and unconscious.

Who would have guessed that the first thing she said when she awoke was:

“I’ve been cursed with a poison. If it isn’t neutralized within three days, I’ll die.”

From then on, with a beautiful bodyguard at my side, I cut down all who stood in my way and went wherever I pleased.

I am the saintess of the Tianlan Sacred Land, stranded in the wilds.

When I woke, I found myself afflicted by a deadly poison curse, without any cultivation and unable to circulate my energy.

I humbled myself and offered to let him neutralize the poison,

but he actually dared to hesitate?!

What’s worse, after the poison was neutralized, my soul was bound to his.

If he dies, I die with him!

A saintess of my stature now has to beg a mortal to train as hard as he can,

and even teach him how to open his meridians...

The most absurd thing in the world is that I,

a saintess, have become the bodyguard of my own cauldron!
