[Historical Era] [Mountain Foraging] [Hunting] [Pocket Dimension] [Supernatural] [No Taking Abuse]
An old hunter who lived to sixty opens his eyes and finds himself reborn five days before his younger brother's family killed him.
His wicked relatives constantly leech off and exploit him. In his previous life, he put up with them for decades and met a miserable end. This time, armed with the gifts of rebirth, he won't be foolishly kind or indulge them anymore. He cuts ties in front of everyone, draws a clear line, and refuses to let anyone push him around again.
With the vast Changbai Mountains at his back, he goes hunting in the wilderness. Rare game and valuable mountain goods pour in without end, letting him quietly build a fortune in an era of scarcity.
Mountain spirits and monsters wreak havoc in the depths of the forest, while demons and ghosts bring chaos to the human world. Others tremble at the mere mention of them, but he possesses secret arts. He subdues mountain spirits, suppresses wild ghosts, and captures all manner of evil spirits.
By chance, he saves a beautiful educated youth in dire straits. Two hearts shaped by hardship draw close, and together they start a family and have a whole brood of chubby boys!
Hard times and spiteful people make life difficult, while strange events keep happening in the deep forests, the commune, and the county town. Watch this sixty-year-old geezer live a second life, make money to support his family, subdue all spirits, and enjoy the carefree life he deserves!
It's a bit fantasy, but pretty good-looking
